THE POWER OF SPLEEN

Beef spleen is special for its enormously rich amount of heme iron. This form of iron is absorbed in our body much better than non-heme iron. It attaches to hemoglobin and myoglobin and supports the production of red blood cells.


Additionally, beef spleen is one of the few animal products that contains a lot of vitamin C. Thus, it supports healthy blood vessels and helps the immune system. In addition, vitamin C also stimulates iron absorption.
