THE POWER OF PRIMAL KEFIR

The word kefir is derived from the Turkish word keyfir, which means “to feel good". Primal kefir is a naturally fermented dairy product containing a wide range of live microorganisms (bacteria and yeasts) that occur naturally in kefir through the fermentation process.


Among other things, primal kefir contains the unique substances kefiran and lactobacillus kefiri found only in kefir and also contains a broad spectrum of nutrients.

Can I use this supplement with lactose intolerance?

Our primal kefir supplement is made from raw A1 milk. Because of the long fermentation process (without heating) and the presence of lactase in kefir, in most cases this supplement can also be used without problems by people with a lactose intolerance. 


But to be sure; build up use slowly and listen carefully to your body.

Difference between (regular) milk and primal kefir

Primal kefir is easier to digest due to the natural fermentation process and contains a broad spectrum of different bacteria, yeasts and fungi in addition to the nutrients that raw milk naturally contains. Including unique substances and micro-organisms found only in kefir, such as kefiran and lactobacillus kefiri.

How do I use it?

For our primal kefir supplement, we recommend taking it preferably on an empty stomach. You could therefore take this supplement in the morning just after getting up or before going to bed. You can also take it spread throughout the day to discover what works best for you. 

How is it made?

Our primal kefir is made by fermenting raw A1 milk through kefir grains. This is a 36-hour process without heating, leaving enzymes such as lactose intact in the milk. This product is then freeze-dried for optimal retention of nutrients.

How long is the shelf life?

Our freeze-dried primal kefir has a shelf life of 2 years from the time of freeze-drying. The shelf life on the label may be shorter due to the fact that the product has been in our warehouse for some time.


We aim for a shelf life of no less than 1.5 year at the time the product reaches you.

THE PRODUCTION PROCESS

The primal kefir in this product is obtained by fermenting raw milk for 36 hours using kefir grains. 


Average store-bought kefir obtained through selected freeze-dried cultures contains 5-15 bacterial species. Our raw primal kefir contains up to 50 bacterial species.


Because of the long fermentation process (without heating) and the presence of lactase in the kefir, in most cases this supplement can also be used without problems by people with lactose intolerance.
