Yes, definitely. Colostrum is very suitable as a healthy daily supplement.
Our colostrum supplement contains only colostrum from the first 12-hour milking, as this is when the content of IGs is the highest. For this purpose, only colostrum remaining after the calf has drunk is used.
Can I use this supplement with lactose intolerance?
Our colostrum comes from A1 cows. Colostrum is naturally low in lactose, so in most cases it is not a problem for people with a lactose intolerance.
We find that many people with intolerance to milk protein experience no problems with intake of colostrum.
But to be sure; build up usage slowly and listen carefully to your body.
What is it made of?
Our colostrum supplement contains only colostrum from the first 12-hour milking (from A1 cows), as this is when the content of IGs is the highest.
Difference between (regular) milk and colostrum
Colostrum is superior to regular milk in terms of nutrients.
Colostrum contains more immunoglobulins, growth factors and lactoferrin. It also contains unique bioactive components found only in the first milk after birth.
This makes colostrum a powerful source of nutrients not found, or much less so, in regular milk.
How do I use it?
You can take colostrum with or without food. We recommend taking it in the morning for a good start of your day. You can also take it spread throughout the day to discover what works best for you.
How is it made?
Within the first 12 hours of the calf's birth, the colostrum left over after the calf drinks is collected, frozen and then freeze-dried.
Are your supplements halal?
The capsules we use for our supplements are halal certified, making our colostrum supplement and primal kefir supplement halal.
We cannot offer halal organ supplements at this time. We know there is a lot of demand for halal slaughtered organ supplements and certainly continue to look into this possibility, but it is unfortunately not possible for us at this time at the current slaughterhouse we are working with.
How long is the shelf life?
Our freeze-dried colostrum has a shelf life of 1.5 years from the time of freeze-drying. The shelf life on the label may be shorter due to the fact that the product has been in our warehouse for some time.
We aim for a shelf life of no less than 1 year at the time the product reaches you.
